Clinical Team

Nursing Team

Practice Nurses are fully trained in a wide range of skills including immunisations, health promotion, contraception and management of long-term conditions e.g. advise on diet and lifestyle choices, coronary heart disease, hypertension, asthma, diabetes, smoking cessation and obesity. Practice Nurses can extend their skills at Diploma Level and see many patients who previously would have seen the Doctor.

The Nursing Team run various Nurse-led clinics for diabetes, asthma, coronary heart disease and COPD as well as providing general nursing services, dressings, removal of sutures, blood tests and cervical screening.

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare Assistants are non-registered Nursing staff who assist in patient care and Practice related duties. They provide essential services like taking blood samples, dressing wounds, giving some injections, processing specimens, and irrigating ears.  They play a crucial role in supporting the Clinical Team.

Phlebotomists

Phlebotomists are non-registered nursing staff who provide essential services such as taking the majority of blood samples, checking blood pressures and performing ECGs.

Pharmacists

Our clinical pharmacy team plays a vital role in supporting your health and wellbeing. Working closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, our pharmacists help ensure that your medications are safe, effective, and tailored to your individual needs. They offer expert advice on managing long-term conditions, review prescriptions to reduce side effects or interactions, and provide guidance on how to get the most from your medicines. You may also meet our pharmacy technicians, who assist with medication reviews and help streamline repeat prescriptions. Together, they’re here to make sure your treatment is safe, efficient, and centered around you.

Administrative Teams

Our administrative team is the backbone of the practice, working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. They are your first point of contact—whether you’re booking appointments, requesting prescriptions, or asking questions about services. The team handles a wide range of essential tasks including managing patient records, coordinating referrals, processing correspondence, and supporting our clinical staff. Friendly, efficient, and committed to patient care, our admin team helps ensure you receive the best possible service every time you contact the practice.

Primary Care Network Team

As part of a Primary Care Network, our practice works collaboratively with other local GP surgeries to provide a wider range of healthcare services and support closer to home. The PCN team includes a variety of professionals such as clinical pharmacists, social prescribers, physician associates, paramedics, care coordinators, health and wellbeing coaches, and more. These team members work alongside our GPs and nurses to offer more comprehensive, personalised care—especially for patients with complex or long-term conditions. By sharing expertise and resources, the PCN helps us improve access, reduce waiting times, and support your overall health and wellbeing more effectively.

Allied Health Professionals

Clinical Pharmacists help to ensure the quality of our prescribing. They review medication changes following hospital discharge, resolve complex medication problems and help with the annual reviews we carry out for all patients on repeat medication. Some clinical pharmacists are licensed to prescribe and may be involved in the management of long term health problems.

Our Clinical Pharmacist is Kirsty Conder, supported by Pharmacist Liam, and Pharmacy Technicians Helen & Lou.

Paramedics are highly experienced in the assessment and management of patients with urgent medical problems. Working closely with our Urgent Care Team they carry out many of the home visits and also assess patients at Redlands Primary Care.

Our Paramedics are Alex, Ella & Glenn.
